I want to share something with you that the Lord lay on my heart. This message is for myself as well as for someone else who needs to hear it.
We all go through hardships. We all face trials. We all go through unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control. We all face financial difficulties. At some point in our lives we will all have to experience the loss of a loved one. Maybe even the painful loss of a child. Maybe you are facing painful martial issues or maybe even divorce. Maybe you have a family member who is under the bondages of drugs and alcohol. Maybe you are experiencing health problems or know a loved one suffering from cancer or another devastating disease.
Whatever your situation or circumstances, I know how these things can make you feel like there is no way out, no end is in sight, no overcoming, no victory to be had.
Grief, pain and sorrow are so prevalent in your life that you feel like just giving up. Maybe you can’t escape the depression you experience because of it all.
Maybe you feel suffocated and screaming for air. Maybe you feel like you are in the middle of the ocean, just swimming and swimming but never able to reach the shore. Maybe you feel like you are in a bottomless pit with no way of reaching the top. Happiness is something others experience, but not you.
But I’m here to tell you that no matter what you are facing today or what you may face tomorrow, Don’t give up! Keep fighting the good fight of Faith. Keep trusting the Lord!
Don’t allow the enemy to fill your mind with thoughts of defeat. Satan is real clever and he will use your circumstances to accomplish his goal in weakening your faith. Don’t let him!
Everything and I mean everything that happens in your life, happens for a reason. We don’t always understand why things happen to us.
The message I feel led to give you is this:
Get out of that depressing state of mind. Get those negative thoughts out of your mind. Satan was defeated when Jesus shed His precious blood for you at Calvary’s cross. Victory is yours!
Use your situation or circumstances to help others. Turn your situation into something good and use it for something positive.
Someone once said and I paraphrase…
⋱⋱ ⋮ ⋰ ⋰
You see there is a lesson to be learned from every circumstance or situation in your life. When you are faced with trials always remember that a true test of faith is to welcome the storm. Learn from it and decide to let it make you stronger and better, not bitter for having to go through it.
Recognize that most often times God is trying to teach you something within yourself. No matter what comes your way, stay true to your faith. Listen and quite your heart so that you may always hear His voice saying, “This is the way… walk in it.”
