God in my waking – Walk with me daily, Lord
God in my sleeping – Be Thou beside me as I rest.
God in the center – In all that I say and do.
Take my life – I give it freely to You.
It is Yours – My life is not my own.
I am the clay – As is with all of humanity.
And You are the potter – Our Divine Potter.
Make Me – After Thy own will.
Mold Me – Shape me inwardly.
Transform Me – Spiritually fashion me into a vessel fit for Your use.
My Lord and King – Ruler and Master of all creation.
I give you everything – I offer my body, mind, soul and spirit to You.
I surrender it all – Not my will, but Thy will be done.
Use Me – As Your Chosen Vessel.
Fill Me – Holy Spirit have your way in me!
Guide Me – Consciously surrendering my free will to Thy will.
Everything I am – All that I am!
And all that I hope to be – In Christ Jesus.
I give my life…
To the potters hands.
But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the Work of Your Hand. (In this Passage is the gist of the great Salvation Message of Christianity. Only God can change the shape of the clay, thereby molding the vessel into shape and design that is desired, thereby mending the flaws and weaknesses.)
– Isaiah 64:8

Last week in my Christian Women’s Group, during my live broadcast, we discussed several ways of being a confident woman of God. I wanted to touch on one topic from that discussion.
• Being a confident woman of God is recognizing your weaknesses and allowing God to strengthen you.
I admit, that in my own experience my weaknesses are very frustrating at times. In my life journey and walk with God, I have come to realize that my weaknesses are just a reminder of how important it is to trust God and depend solely on Him. And understand while they are not pleasant I’m allowing His light to shine through the cracks.
The Bible tells us that “God’s grace is sufficient for you and His Strength is made perfect in weakness.” Read – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
If you have your Bible available, turn with me to 2 Corinthians- Chapter 12. Beginning with verse 7, The Apostle Paul is speaking about, ‘The Thorn in the flesh.’
I will be using my Expositor’s study Bible and have included the expository notes to give you a better understanding of each verse.
It reads as follows:
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the Revelations (presents the reason for the thorn in the flesh), there was given to me a thorn in the flesh (I think it was all the difficulties of 2 Cor. 11:23-27), the messenger of Satan to buffet me (an angel of Satan), lest I should be exalted above measure. (This has the Apostle concluding this sentence as it began.)
8. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. (The Apostle knew it was the Lord allowing this, but He didn’t understand why.)
9. And He said unto me (the Lord responded, but did not agree), My Grace is sufficient for you (speaks of enabling Grace, which is really the Goodness of God carried out by the Holy Spirit): for My Strength is made perfect in weakness. (All Believers are weak, but the Lord tends to make us weaker, with the intention being that we then depend solely upon Him, thereby, obtaining His Strength.) Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities (because of the end result), that the Power of Christ may rest upon me. (If Paul needed so humbling and painful an experience of what the carnal nature is, it is evident that all Christians need it. Whatever weakens, belittles, and humiliates that proud and willful nature should be regarded by the Believer as most worthwhile.)
10. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, In persecutions, in distresses for Christ sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong (then the strength of Christ can be exhibited through me, but only when I know I am weak). – 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 KJV
If being a broken vessel for Christ’s sake is what it takes for me to proclaim the truth of the gospel; while letting HIS light shine THROUGH the cracks…Then Yes! I want to be used as His broken vessel, and as a channel of living waters. For when I am weak, I am made strong through Christ who strengthens me.
Need I say more – I believe that explains it all! God is so good! Thank you, Lord!
“For the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
-Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
LORD, sometimes my days seem so commonplace and I feel tired and worn.
Thoughts, often invade my mind that the days are forever unchanging.
Most days, finding it hard to experience any Joy, leaving me filled with lowness of spirit.
O, LORD, help me to earnestly seek to go about my days with a positive outlook on life.
Renew in me a new attitude of mind, soul and spirit.
Lord, direct my path and guide me in all Your ways.
May my conduct always reflect a lifestyle in the manner that is worthy of you.
Help me, Lord, to remember that life is a precious gift and that you ultimately hold the key to all Joy.
Lord, lift up Your countenance upon me and cover me in Your Peace, which can only come from you.
Remind me, Lord, that you are the Master planner of my life and it is ‘Your Joy’ that gives me strength.
O, Lord, I can joyfully rejoice; because it is You, that is rejoicing in me.
There’s a beautiful flower
That stands among the fields.
In stillness, hour after hour,
Its fragrance so pleasantly yields.
A sweetsmelling savour it often reveals.
Giving thanks, in prayer my mother kneels.
Like lovely pink petals of grace,
God’s love illuminates my mother’s face.
This gentle flower so faithful and true.
Mother, I am so grateful for you.
~ Today’s Verse ~
“And walk in love (be constantly ordering your behavior within the sphere of love), as Christ also hath loved us (presents the Apostle passing from Father to the Son as our example), and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.(Christ fulfilled all the symbolic Blood Offerings of the Levitical system [Heb. 10:8]. He fulfilled those by becoming an Offering for sin on the Cross. The ”sweetsmelling Savor” describes the atoning Sacrifice as accepted by God.)”

That pain and sorrow
doesn’t last forever.
Joy does come in the morning.
You may not feel it today.
Maybe not even tomorrow.
you will breathe in the
calmness of the cool air.
Feel the warming embrace
of the sun’s rays upon your face.
And dance once again
beneath the brightest bluest skies.
Look up beautiful one!
Peace is just over the horizon.
